Saturdays Are Made for Being at the James Bay Market!
Now in our 30th year, the James Bay Market in Victoria, BC has grown and evolved by leaps and bounds since its beginnings in 1995. This beloved Saturday Farmers Market now welcomes a vibrant gathering of 60 tents, bustling with friendly vendors from Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Explore colourful displays of fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and farm produce. Make mealtimes a snap with baked goods, brewed beverages, prepared foods, and preserves. Shoppers will also discover a wonderful selection of handmade goods, including art, woodworking, clothing, body care products, jewellery, and more.
Along with your shopping bags, be sure to bring your dancing shoes and your appetite. Each Saturday features three sets of free live music from local musicians, plus food trucks serving up delicious eats to tempt your tastebuds. Stop to say hello to your favourite vendors and discover some new ones along the way.
Locals and visitors alike love making the James Bay Market part of their Saturday must-visit. Grab a cup of locally roasted coffee at the Info Booth, pick up your weekly veggies and prepared foods, and do a bit of gift shopping while soaking up live music and the welcoming community spirit of Victoria’s James Bay neighbourhood.

Did you know that well-behaved dogs (and other pets!) are welcome at the James Bay Market? Please make sure they’re comfortable in busy spaces, kept on a leash, and under control so everyone can enjoy the market safely.
Please note: For everyone’s comfort and food safety, keep pets away from food and be sure to clean up after them.
