Dickens Fair

A community tradition since the 1980s.

Location: James Bay Community School Center – 140 Oswego Street, Victoria BC V8V 2B1
Date: Saturday, December 4th, 2020 10am – 4:30 pm
Admission: $3
Children under 12 (accompanied by an adult): Free.

Celebrating its 40th year in 2021, the Dickens Fair is one of Victoria’s oldest and best-loved Holiday craft fairs. Our curated Vancouver Island artisans offer a great variety of handmade and homemade products at affordable prices.

The Dickens Fair is getting ready to “Deck the Halls” and we’d love to have you join us. With the variety of vendors there will be something for everyone!

Enter a wonderland of treasures, from toys to jewelry, fashion, and food, and choose uniquely crafted holiday gifts for your family and friends. Hosted by the James Bay Market Society, the Dickens Fair provides an opportunity to meet and support local artisans, hear their stories and learn first-hand how they make, bake and craft their wares.

You will recognize your favourite James Bay Community Market vendors. There are also many new-to-you vendors showcasing their work at the Dickens Fair for the first time. The variety and quality will impress the most discerning shoppers.

Due to Covid restrictions, we will not have the popular Dickens Café this year. Hopefully we will be able to open again next year.

Please note: We will be following all of the BC CDC procedures. All participants to the Dickens Fair, be they a visitor, volunteer or vendor will be required to be fully vaccinated, the Vaccine Passport and picture ID will be required to be shown prior to entry and masks must be worn while on the premises.
